Seed Bomb Project

Just a reminder that on June 3rd there will be the seed bombing event at the Mildura Eco Village, between 10am and 12pm. If attending please wear closed shoes and long pants as they are required to access Landfill site (under supervision) to throw the bombs. We will provide safety vests for the kids and parents.

Uniform News

As previously stated in the newsletter, our uniform sales will be moving to Laser Signs and Print at 3A Andriske Court, Mildura. The process of getting all stock into Laser Signs and Print is a slow process due to the number of suppliers that are required to be drawn upon for the stocking of all items. We are still looking to launch the online shop and availability of all items at the start of Term 3, but we understand the requirements for ‘winter clothing’ at the moment. We have therefore worked hard to get the polar fleece jumpers and new line of track pants available after the June long weekend. If you require a jumper or some long pants, pop in and see Darran, Richie and Taylor and they will be able to help you out. We are very excited about this move and are looking forward to the new additions to our current uniform once available. Once an exact date is available for all items and the online store, we will notify all the community, along with a display in our front office at school. We appreciate your support during this changeover.

Prep 2019 Enrolments

We are now accepting enrolments for 2019. If you have a child who will be starting Prep in 2019 enrolments forms are available from the office or if you know of any new families who wish to enrol, ask them to contact the school to arrange a tour of the school. Enrolment forms need to be returned to school by August 3rd.
We have been informed from the department that Irymple South will need to maintain the enrolment numbers within the current buildings as no additional buildings will be
available in the near future to cater for growing enrolments.
Restrictions may apply to students enrolling from out of the catchment area.

Student Absences

With the colder weather many students (and staff) are getting sick, If your child is not coming to school it is important to notify the school before the day or as soon as possible on the day of absence. There are a number of ways that this can be done;
  • Email your child’s teacher
  • Message your child’s teacher using SeeSaw
  • Email the school’s email
  • Phone the office
All absences need to be recorded and with the correct reason for the absence. We thankyou for your assistance with this.

At our last School Council meeting we have decided to change our uniform supplier from Lowes to Laser Signs and Print.
Laser Signs and Print ( are a local company who currently undertake a number of signage andprinting jobs with the school. We are only at the beginning of changeover, therefore Lowes still hold our current stock but Laser Signs and Print will provide in store supply, as well as online ordering. Online orders will be delivered directly to the school once a week. Laser Signs and Print will hold our current items of clothing that are available from Lowes, along with a number of new items. Over the first few weeks of Term 2, we will provide updates on our transition, shop times, online ordering instructions and the release of new uniform options. We will keep everyone in the community informed to help make the experience of buying uniform an easier and more positive experience.
