Last term you received information about a new fundraising activity that we are participating in. Living Fundraisers is an Australian owned company who offer healthy, fun and educational products. We will be selling soy candles ($15), packs of greeting cards ($15) and a variety of growing kits ($6). All monies raised will go towards the upkeep of our vegie gardens, chickens and environmental programs. If you need an order form please come to the office to collect one. We have extended the date for the return of the orders. Money and orders are now to be returned to school by FRIDAY APRIL 27th.

ISPS Cross Country Day

Not long now! Our Cross Country will be held on Thursday 26th April. All students will compete in their year level groups with separate boys’ and girls’ races. The Cross Country event is about

participation, having fun and promoting personal health and fitness. Every student who takes part earns points for their house.

This is a HOUSE day and all students can dress in their house colours to support their teammates. Students should also wear suitable Sun Smart clothing that is easy to run in and appropriate

running footwear. The day will start with the whole school marching at 9:15am. This is a visual treat to see the whole school marching together as one in their house colours and we would encourage parents and families to stay and watch. This will be followed by the official oaths. All parents and families are invited to the cross country to watch the children run.

At our last School Council meeting we have decided to change our uniform supplier from Lowes to Laser Signs and Print.
Laser Signs and Print ( are a local company who currently undertake a number of signage andprinting jobs with the school. We are only at the beginning of changeover, therefore Lowes still hold our current stock but Laser Signs and Print will provide in store supply, as well as online ordering. Online orders will be delivered directly to the school once a week. Laser Signs and Print will hold our current items of clothing that are available from Lowes, along with a number of new items. Over the first few weeks of Term 2, we will provide updates on our transition, shop times, online ordering instructions and the release of new uniform options. We will keep everyone in the community informed to help make the experience of buying uniform an easier and more positive experience.

Religious Education

Catholic RI will recommence in Term 2 on Monday 23rd April. Di Eagle will hold classes after school (3:15pm-4:00pm) on Monday afternoons. There is an expression of interest form in this week’s newsletter. Please fill in the form and return as soon as possible.

Staff Carparks

Please do not access the school via either of the staff carparks. A new fence has been erected around the staff carpark along 15th Street. It is dangerous to walk through areas where vehicles are driving and we have plenty of access points to the school that eliminates the need to walk through the carparks.
