Coles Sports for Schools

The Coles Sports for Schools program is on again. During the Sports For Schools program, you will be able to collect Coles Sports for Schools vouchers from Coles stores. When the program ends, we will exchange the vouchers for sporting equipment. Place vouchers in the box at the front office.

Leaders of Evolution

The Grade 6 students are well underway with their Leadership development through our Leaders of Evolution Program. All students have commenced the online learning modules through the program’s hub. Each student has also made a start towards their group project. Over the course of the year, the Grade 6 students will be actively involved in coordinating a project that helps the local or school community. The students have come up with some wonderful ideas and participated in a Shark Tank with Mr. Milsom, Mr. Allen and Mr. Smith last Friday. The projects will be undertaken at different stages throughout 2018.
Next Thursday and Friday will see the first of our four face to face days with Leaders of Evolution facilitator, Mr. Damian Hecker. Damian’s insight and guidance for the students is invaluable and we look forward to working with him. Students will also commence an individual project focusing on their own self-awareness.
We are looking forward to another exciting year of leadership development.

Medication and Medical Action Plan

If your child requires medication whilst they are at school, the medication needs to be taken to the office by the parent or guardian. The school can only administer medication if we receive it from an adult. Dosage and times need to be clearly labelled on the medication. Children should not have medication in their bag.
Medical Action Plan
If your child suffers from asthma, anaphylaxis or allergy, we require an action plan that has been filled in and signed by your doctor. Asthma action plans need to be updated yearly. Medical alerts are communicated with all staff and we take these very seriously.
