Parent Opinion Survey

Thank you to the parents who completed the online survey recently. The results of the survey will be available next term.

Grandparents Day

We would like to invite all grandparents and special friends to come to school and experience a day in the life of a 21st Century learner. Monday 29th October is the date, so lock it in now!

Uniform News

As stated in last week’s newsletter, Laser Signs and Print have their online shop up and running. They are open from 9:00–5:00 and will be opening on the first Saturday of every month for our convenience. We have samples of the uniform on display in the office foyer. Our School Uniforms can now be purchased online. Follow the directions below:
Online Store
Irymple South Primary
With our saying “1st of May Hats Away, 1st of September Please Remember”, it is a great time to get in and get your new hat. The new hats have a pull rope on them but if you feel you would like to remove this, you are more than welcome to do so. With Laser Signs and Print ordering in stock at all times, please be patient. This is a major move for the school and their business and we will work extremely hard to get things right. It will take a while to get things up and running and even though some items aren’t in stock yet (due to being custom made), we encourage you to order them. Please feel free to pass on any feedback at any time.

Prep 2019 Enrolments

We would now like all enrolments for 2019. If you have a child who will be starting Prep in 2019 enrolments forms are available from the office or if you know of any new families who wish to enrol, ask them to contact the school to arrange a tour of the school. Enrolment forms need to be returned to school by August 3rd.
We have been informed by the department that Irymple South will need to maintain the enrolment numbers within the current buildings as no additional buildings will be available in the near future to cater for growing enrolments.
Restrictions may apply to students enrolling from out of the catchment area.

Student Absences

With the colder weather many students (and staff) are getting sick, If your child is not coming to school it is important to notify the school before the day or as soon as possible on the day of absence. There are a number of ways that this can be done;
  • Email your child’s teacher
  • Message your child’s teacher using SeeSaw
  • Email the school’s email
  • Phone the office
All absences need to be recorded and with the correct reason for the absence. We thankyou for your assistance with this.
