Whole School Approach
Irymple South Primary School is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive. Our comprehensive student mental health and wellbeing program equips students with the social, emotional, and problem-solving skills they need to navigate life’s challenges and develop healthy relationships.
At Irymple South Primary School we work in partnership with all members of the school community to develop a safe and inclusive school environment. Our whole school approach to student mental health and wellbeing supports students to develop:
- social and emotional skills and capabilities that promote life-long mental health and wellbeing
- skills to problem-solve and manage the normal stressors of life
- healthy relationships and the ability to work cooperatively with others
- a sense of autonomy and purpose.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Profile describes our tiered approach to supporting students individual needs, and outlines the role that our staff play in creating a safe and inclusive environment.
